What Cuts Will I Receive?
The cuts usually consist of 20-25% Steaks, 25-35% Roasts, Stew Meat & Short Ribs, and 40-50% Ground Beef, Patties, and Ground Chuck. You can get premium cuts such as Filet Mignon and T-Bones at an affordable price.
Offal (heart, liver, tongue, and oxtail) are included in your order unless you tell us not to include it. We will call and email you after your order is placed to confirm.
Since some cuts only produce 1 per animal, these rare cuts may not exist in your Whole order. We do our best to split these single items between the orders so all receive the same pounds of meat. Each animal differs, but our efforts to raise the best animal possible ensure you are going to get the best cuts possible.
Can I Customize the Standard Cuts?
Yes! After you place your order, a representative will reach out to you to confirm your preferences.
When Will I Receive My Beef?
Up to 6-10 weeks because we don't process Whole Beef orders until they are placed and Cut Sheets have been filled out and returned by you, the customer. After placing your Whole Beef order, a representative from Prosper Meats will contact you to discuss any preference options that may be available for processing your order and to explain the expected timeline for delivery or pick-up of your order.
How is the Meat Packaged?
Every cut is flash-frozen, vacuum-sealed, and labeled for your convenience.
What is the Difference Between Grass Fed & Finished and Steakhouse Beef?
Organic Grass Fed & Finished Beef (Certified USDA Organic)
Certified USDA Organic cattle are raised on 100% Organic Grass from birth while grazing in open Colorado pastures, never in a feedlot. Very lean beef with little to no fat content. Always antibiotic and hormone-free.
Prosper Steakhouse Beef
Cattle are fed an optimized mixture of Prosper Farms Colorado Grown Hay, Natural Native Grass, Corn, and Distillers Spent Grain. Raised and marketed for high-end steakhouses, you can enjoy the same top-notch quality at home from Prosper Meats with our Prosper Steakhouse cuts. Always hormone-free.
