When raising cattle, our belief is that the better the life of the animal, the better the meat they provide. That’s part of the reason we’ve adopted a true, vertically integrated system that reaches from seed to dinner plate. Home-grown grass, corn, cattle raised from calving to finishing, and all while using no antibiotics in our organic beef programs and no growth hormones ever.
With Prosper Meats, you can enjoy great tasting grass-fed beef from one of the leading organic beef producers in the state. Over 75,000 family owned acres where native Colorado grasses and farm-raised sorghum sudangrass grow on our open range.
Organic grass-fed beef from Colorado’s Great Plains that will make you forget everything you thought you knew about beef.
At Prosper Meats, we pride ourselves in providing only the best meat from Colorado born and raised cattle.

I Give a Crop™
Prosper Meats® is proud to support the I Give a Crop™ initiative to advance sustainable agriculture
At Prosper Meats, we care about the health of our planet. It’s no secret that our planet’s environmental health is on the decline. While there are many man-made factors playing a role in this decline, there are some at the heart of our business that we feel are particularly important: the practices of conventional agriculture. Conventional agriculture has an enormous environmental footprint. It plays a significant role in causing land degradation, water scarcity, deforestation, and it is one of the leading contributors to climate change. We all need to eat, and with the global population steadily growing, the time to change our current agricultural practices is now. The I Give a Crop™ initiative encourages those in the agricultural industry to stop harming the environment and start healing it.
Sustainable agriculture provides farmers and other agricultural businesses a way to reduce their impact on the environment while continuing to feed a growing population. There are many steps we can take to farm in a sustainable way, and there are many positive results in doing so. Sustainable agriculture can restore the health of our soil, replenish water supplies, cut down on energy costs, and help to protect our remaining natural ecosystems. But it’s not just farmers who can make a difference. The I Give a Crop™ initiative is for all of us, and you too can help bring about positive change. Every single one of us contributes to the current environmental crisis, not only in the decisions we make in our daily lives, but also in the companies we choose to support. When you support organizations that are dedicated to practicing sustainable agriculture, you use your purchasing power to make a difference. So, go ahead, take a second look at the companies you support. Discover new businesses dedicated to protecting the environment. Use your purchasing power for the good of the planet, because our planet can only heal when we all decide to do our part to protect its future. At Prosper Meats, we proudly support I Give A Crop™, do you?
Here at Prosper Meats we partner with the best organizations to certify our fields and cattle.
CCOF is a nonprofit organization that advances organic agriculture for a healthy world through organic certification, education, advocacy, and promotion. We envision a world where organic is the norm.
Here at Prosper Meats, we’re proud to be part of that tradition. We’re part of a group of Colorado Proud suppliers that provide high-quality meat to our local markets while helping Colorado’s economy.
Founded in 2008, Global Animal Partnership (GAP) is a non-profit organization made up of farmers, scientists, retailers, manufacturers, and animal advocates, all collaborating with a common purpose: improving farm animal welfare. GAP is making a difference by creating and managing a comprehensive 5-Step® Welfare Rating Program for farm animals, where farms & ranches are audited every 15 months by an independent third-party. Through our 5-Step® Rating Program and labeled product program, producers and consumers can choose to support a program that continuously improves the lives of farm animals step by step.
Prosper Meats is proud to be part of the Global Animal Partnership’s Animal Welfare Rating Program. It was developed with the animal’s welfare as the primary focus.
GAP defines animal welfare as 3 overlapping components that together with good management and genetics, contribute to good animal welfare:

We believe in simplifying the process. All of our cuts have set prices, so you know what you are paying up front, while others often show per pound prices, and your total price will depend on the animal or cut you receive. Our prices are set competitive against per pound pricing, while eliminating the unknown.
All of our products are shipped overnight to ensure they remain frozen. Shipping rates are based on weight of the order, delivery zip code, and the need to overnight ship.
We ship each day, Monday-Thursday. Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will ship either Monday or Tuesday based on quantity of orders.
